We are almost ready to start on the Sound Reduction Work in the fellowship hall. We have about 2/3 of the amount of money we need. If anyone would like to make a donation, please designate it to the Building/Parking/Acquisitions Fund.

As many of you know the Remind App which allows us to send messages to church members has been down for a while. Mrs. Sheron is going to try to work on it in a couple of weeks. If you would like to get messages from the church, please tear off the bottom of the page that was printed in the August 31st bulletin with your name and cell number on it and put it in the offering plate. Thank you for your help.

Attention parents: There are Children's Devotional books in the old kitchen/ fellowship hall area.

If church members would like to have one of the older hymnals that used to be in old sanctuary, please see Caleb or a Music Committee member. The Music Committee members are Garrett Douglas, Connie Hitt &Sarah Matheny. The rest will be donated to another church. The hymnals are on a table in the hallway in the main building.

All committees need to meet at the first of September to elect a chairperson. Please let the office know as soon as possible who was elected chair of your committee. We still have a few committees that have not picked a chairman. If your committee hasn't, please do so and let the office know.

For the October Mission Project our Acteens will be " Adopting A Floor" at the Children's Hospital (UMC). This helps families that do not feel comfortable leaving their children to get food, have a way to eat. We are asking for your help with items that do not need refrigeration. Soups, jerky, pudding, granola bars, chips, any other nonperishable individually, wrapped snacks, coffee (K-cups are best). Thank you for in advance.

There are sign up sheets on the bulletin boards if you would like to help with the Fall Festival.
